Bandwidth

Bandwidth is used interchangeably with the term data transfer.  While technically there are differences, generally they refer to the same thing.

Bandwidth is basically the type of measurement used to determine the amount of data that as been used, accessed, or called when a visitor “visits” a website.  So the more visitors to a website the more bandwidth is used.

When calculating bandwidth, it can be done to measure date over a period of time.  Most web hosting companies calculate and advertise bandwidth on a monthly basis.
