Inbound Link
An inbound link is a type of hypertext link that connects to an onsite web page from a different website. Inbound links are regarded highly by Google and other search engines to determine a website’s popularity and value when determining the position it should receive in the search engine listings.
The term inbound link is also in reference to the site you are currently on and generally refers to the traffic or visitors that gets directed to a given web site through the link.
