Link bait is content or articles that grab the attention of readers. Generally this is done with a very compelling title or opening sentence. These is seen a lot in social media sites and networks that look to generate traffic to a website. An example of link bait would be finding an article on Digg.com that says “Can hybrid cars really be bad for the environment?”
